What do you know of their mechanics?:
I know Proteans have use of a blob form which gives them higher speed and allows them to crawl into vents like mice. They also use a different healing system of consuming steel instead of being repaired or healed traditionally.

I'm not sure if the coding followed over to CHOMP, but I also remember storing other types of metals gave Proteans some perks, like speed boosts and brute resistance.

The 'Abilities' tab offers them a lot of similar options to Prometheans, like changing gender and hair styles.

What do you know of their lore?:
I know quite a bit about Protean lore for Virgo, but it looks like they currently don't have any established lore for CHOMP. 

What idea did you have for your character?:
I wanted to take the Protean race to use for a latex beast-styled character, who can shapeshift at will, snag people up inside like a living suit. I tried working the concept with the Promethean race but it just didn't quite mechanically feel right, and the blobform could act as a sneaky little 'trap' for anyone willing to participate in that sort of content.

I also have a synthmorph character currently, who canonically is nanite-based. The Protean race isn't required to make them work, but it would allow me some mechanic/physical freedoms I had to make things up about, such as genital shifting on the spot; a well as proving a more realistic ability to commit voracious acts while being made of stiff metal.

Why do you wish to be in the position you choose?:
I feel a need to be back on my BS after quitting my dev run on virgo and taking my break. Also I'm pretty good at dev stuff and got the deadest hours covered for late night troubleshooting, assistance, and other shenanigans.

How long have you played on the server for?:
A few months actively. Occasional visits before complete migration but I never really counted the time on those.

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins? If so, why?
Nope.

As a staff member, called out head staff for misconduct, clique behavior, bad decisions, and lack of transparency after a poorly handled incident that drove away several of my friends from the server. Other than that, nothing, aside from a stern but relatively well handled lecture after implementing purposefully vague alternative use for an existing ingame asset that out-of-context looked messy without explicitly declaring its obvious visual resemblance to p**p in a less innocent context.

Have you ever been staff on another server? If yes, how long?
Old Citadel and Virgo, both some years and long enough to become a dev and eventually burn out after a significant community shift having turned the place into something that no longer resembled what I had joined the servers for.

What do you want to gain from being staff?
Ability to fix things when nobody else is around to fix it. Also the ability to spice up the slow more or less unstaffed rounds that make up most of my active playtime.

How do you see yourself in the future of the server?
Back on my BS and hopefully this time with less burnout.

What do you want to offer to the community?
My dev skills and available staff assistance during the snoozy hours.

What do you know of their mechanics?: Mechanics-wise, Proteans can collapse into a blob-form, which gives them the ability to ventcrawl, they can consume sheets of metal to store/use for size alteration and self-repairs. They also have the ability to alter their appearance at will, selecting from different species as well as color for limbs/hair/tails/etc.

What do you know of their lore?: Basically, Proteans are synthetics composed of millions and millions of tiny robots working together to form one being! They're a pretty rare sight most places, and not a whole lot is known about them.

What idea did you have for your character?: Idea ported from my Protean on another server: Basically, a crewmember that started off as long-lost technology on a partially destroyed vessel of alien origin discovered by the station's Exploration crew. Nicknamed 'Gyro,' it initially was found in a sealed container, carrying the appearance of liquid metal, though it gradually developed its own humanoid shape after spending time around the explorers. After several lengthy discussions with the powers-that-be, it was determined that because it would be too dangerous to simply release this bit of high-risk technology into the public, it would be offered a position working on the station, where it could be observed more closely. (Ultimately, Gyro's a bit of an awkward, curious synth, learning about life aboard a space station with his new coworkers!)

What do you know of their mechanics?: They are basically a construct of nanomachines, hence they can repair themselves should they consume enough materials, change their form at will, and shift their appearence. Though also have the ability to turn to a blob and slip about rather squishily

What do you know of their lore?: In all technical terms there is no 'lore' so to speak, however they are basically a highly policed 'class' for those who can afford it, being required by NT law to have a permit, so only a rich, or lucky individual could own one

What idea did you have for your character?: William Dewolfe, Currently a character I have in the works, he smokes a lot, he already has false lungs and an assisted heart due to smoking too much, Given he is rather well off, he could apply to NT for such an upgrade, no longer having to worry so much about his health. and instead getting to enjoy life, without the need of corrective surgeries.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person? Depends on the situation and alert level. Few are the situations where sec won't carry em.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’? I'll have to admit, i can't find a single trace for this specific term in the regulations, so i'm not sure if that's a trick question.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do : If they are clearly refusing, i'll pass the information to my team, if they aren't drugged af or something making their judgement cloudy.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility? Track the sentences and keep a watch on your department.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
Energy guns, laser guns and riot gear are allowed to be given out to security personnel with clearance from the Warden or HoS.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime? Ask them to stop and come in. No need to flashbang the bar.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation : I'll ask em what they are doing in there. If it is a extended round, i'll probably politely get them out and ask to search them. If it is a more action round, probably arrest them on the spot, search and lecture them on the situation.

A: Clock out of active job, find a preferred placed not to be bothered, ghost, quit the round, then exit game.

A: Enforce & follow both corporate regulations & standard operating procedures; however respectfully and reasonably ofcourse.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
A: Unless Colony Direct, Head of Sec or Personal, in which, energy weapons only, it's foribidden to weapons on person, regardless of position unless explicitly given permission or absolutely deemed an emergency.

A: Full shields are only needed when necessary, but thanks to new technology, policy has changed to where it doesn't needed be enforced as often.

A: Unless patient is unable to make the decision themselves or his showing signs that they might not be in the fully right mind, they have 100% rights to refuse any sort of treatment and must be respected.

A: Ensure security of the station along with overseeing the armory, prisoner management & processing, and in general, keeping the piece.

A: Riot Gear, & Energy Equipment like lasers, but only to security

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
A: Tell the suspect of their current violation in a respectful polite manner & reason so. If the situation is applicable, a fine can be placed, which then, PAY THE FINE OR SERVE YOUR SENTENCE. 

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation
A: Unless the HoP specifically stated they need to get into the armory for a good reason, trespassing is still trespassing & the standard procedures will be taken into play.

 - Standard Operating Procedure, Corporate Regulations. Admiralty Law on special occasion

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
 - Yes and no, mixed. Only Colony Director, Head of Personnel and Head of Security is permitted to carry the guns that has been provided as a standard gear (Which can be found in their lockers), and even then, while Head of Personnel has an access to the armory, they are not authorized to carry more guns from the armory without the Colony Director's or the Head of Security's permission. Colony Director only can carry one lethal gun, but having more than two is a violation of the corporate regulation. Meanwhile, all head of staffs are 'technically' able to carry the guns, but only if they have a permit and remain it holstered/hidden from view at code green, followed by the SOP.

What do you know of their mechanics?: 
Mechanically? Not much. Either i missed it or the wiki lacks a 'game terms' page for the species Vox. 
I know that they breathe a different atmosphere (Phoron here? Elsewhere, Nitrogen) and are apparently particularly strong against stunning effects. I know they have a 'Stack' and that this has implications for their cloning/resleeving process.

What do you know of their lore?:
I've read the wiki page https://wiki.chompstation13.net/index.php?title=Vox several times and know the general gist of it. Mysterious species, 'grown' on their ships (as if test-tube grown but flavored differently), strange attitudes towards other species and so on. I tend to not absorb too much due to my specific character idea i want to play, though have a nutshell understanding / at least also know the webpage to refer back to when it comes up.

What idea did you have for your character?:

Nutshell: A "Breaking the mould" Vox

The character i got is one i want to port from a different server. I played them as an "NT-grown Vox", as in, perhaps NT once got themselves ahold of a vox's pod, or a vox themselves, managed to talk them over, or mess with their inherently 'programmed' skillset as the lore says they can get (Several ideas but i always went with 'NT-grown'. I used such a background to get around some of the lore limitations, as i prefer being a little bit softer spoken and nicer to others. I played a female vivid-blue tall female-identifying vox called "Raikichiya" who in general played security roles on the server she was from. I put strong effort in having her be surprisingly good (defining 'good' in security as, use of de-escalation, good judgement, using personal discretion where possible...) at the role, and in general being impressive from an NT point of view. 

For the reasons above, if this is accepted, i'd like to request an exemption from at least the non-head security roles for this character, of officer/warden/detective. 

I DID even play them as a head on their old server - it would be cool to keep this power from my perspective, but this i mind less if this is also not possible.

Since 2010, with several multi-year gaps. Probably only 2ish years total. Besides Chomp, I've played TG, Yog, and Goon.

Let an admin know you need to leave via ahelp, then you can ghost and quit the round.

SOP and Corp Regulations. Without breaking server rules, naturally. (Such as using SOP to scene stomp)

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
CD may carry a gun. HOP can carry the gun in their locker. HOS can carry non-lethals but not lethals, barring a heightened alert or bringing contraband back to security. RD can have guns within science. Other heads require permits like any other crew member to carry guns.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
They can be installed prior to any threat appearing as long as they don't negatively impact the station's power. They shouldn't be deployed until they are needed, however.

The patient has a right to refuse treatment. CMO should try to get documentation of their refusal.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
Overseeing the brig and armory. Opening the armory if needed.
