Why do you wish to be in the position you choose?:
I've been regularly playing on this server for a while now and in-game I've always tried to be helpful towards other players, especially newer ones. But that can only be so helpful that way in the grand scheme of things, and that is why I have decided to apply for Moderator on the server so I may better contribute to everyone having a good and enjoyable time playing on Chompers.

How long have you played on the server for?:
I have been playing on the server for about 1 year now.

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins? If so, why?
I have been admin pm'ed during a round before and received a warning over using a mind binder on someone who would only make an objection to it after the fact. Despite the misunderstanding, I still owned up to the mistake and ever since I've been ensuring the other party is always onboard with the roleplay.

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins on another server? If so, why?
I've been playing SS13 for quite a long time- around 7 years, and I've averaged a relatively high amount of "admin interactions" over that time, mainly in the beginning in servers such as Paradise Station, Hippie Station and TG Station which honestly... just operate under a different mentality. On more recent years, I believe the only relevant bans worth mentioning however, would be in Aurora Station (over lowering the pressure in a maintenance tunnel by 3 kPa after entering an unmarked section with a breach I was unaware of) and on Virgo (after blowing myself up after getting unwillingly vored, even after developing towards it ICly, receiving consent from another involved party and no objection from the Pred).

I have not.

Are you okay with a mandatory age check?
Absolutely, yes.

What do you want to gain from being staff?
I don't seek to gain much from joining the staff team, my only reward is to see the server I enjoy playing on continue to strive and grow and for that I am willing to help however I can.

How do you see yourself in the future of the server?
I would like my position as Moderator to not be my defining factor, my goal is to ensure that everyone on the server is having a good time and I know how stressful a conversation with a member of the staff team can be, hencewhy I would strive to be friendly towards anyone, be it to help them with any issues or address something they have done during the round that is against the rules.

What do you want to offer to the community?
I'm offering the time I usually spend hanging around with this community to, ontop of it, be actively helping and creating memorable interactions within the rounds, while maintaining and upholding the goodwill of all parties involved.

My timezone is GMT+1, I am usually available all throughout the week, although my availablity is slightly restricted to the latter half of the days as I am attending college.

Why do you wish to be in the position you choose?: - I'd like to be able to assist the community in a more active sense, and be around to communicate better with staff and players.

What do you want to gain from being staff? A more efficient way to communicate with staff and the ability to help the player base a little better.

How do you see yourself in the future of the server? - I've been on this server for a while, seen the player base cycle out several times. Lots of faces come and go, but its a place i put a lot of my time into. Ive made friends and relationships here and its a place I want to see succeed. This server has put a notable footprint in my time and social circle and does mean a good bit to me.

What do you want to offer to the community? A reasonable voice and a more level head to lend a hand an ear to the community as needed, I am aware enough to step back and think before I do things and I like to make sure all things are heard, even if i cannot help. It counts to understand.

Appeal Reason: well, it has been quite some time. Since I last played the server a lot of things have changed and I am a different person entirely aswell. I recently found someone I used to talk to in the server and wanted to see if I could get a chance again. I know the ban message said that, when banned, it was 'not up to discussion', though I was hoping that perhaps things could change due to how long it has been.
I have tried other SS13 servers, and thus far, while having some minor success in some, I haven't been able to enjoy the game fully and properly. Primarily having issues playing as an antag character. I wanted to try and get back into this server. I remember having a lot of fun with it, and am willing to cooperate with anything needed. I have experience now with SS13, and have matured more as a person.

Why do you wish to be in the position you choose?: 
Full transparency. I want to help keep chompers cozy for people, and a theme Ive seen starting to manifest is moderation via code changes. I feel if that's made the norm, it'll desensitize staff to the players, and I want to hopefully be another bridge between players and staff. A human element is necessary for a healthy community, and I want to be part of that.


How long have you played on the server for?: 
God. Maybe 7 years now? I stopped keeping track.


Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins? If so, why?
I dont think I've ever been reprimanded here before, really.

Only once, on citadel around 6-7 years ago. While a situation where I still firmly believe I was in the right in, I guess it still counts as a reprimand?
The why, I was a bit aggressive in disagreeing with a handwaved self-antag ruling while playing AI, a headmin intervened, I told them their own judgement was a double standard that the rules sided with me on (no less aggressively), and later that day I was 'demoted' from staff by being told to step down. This is the tl;dr, but I can explain further in DMs. I just dont want to rant about it here.

Citadel for nearly 3 years, virgo for 1 year, and coyote bayou for 1.

Are you okay with a mandatory age check?
Did it for both cit and virgo, Im familiar with and fine with the process.

What do you want to gain from being staff?
The responsibility of being a pillow for people to scream into when issues arise. Chomper's is one of the few ss13 servers I care about the community of, and I want to help support it.

How do you see yourself in the future of the server?
Being optimistic here, but
I hope to encourage good changes to the gameplay and roleplay environment here, Ive got plenty ideas, and while Ive thrown them into the hat before and will continue to do so, I feel being a moderator, being at the front and representing the server and community, it would help in the 'practice what you preach' sort of way. If I can be a good moderator and member of the community, I feel that'll at least help make the place better for others.

What do you want to offer to the community?
A level head and a voice of reason. I feel this is such a broad question, I dont think I'll ever be satisfied with an answer short of 'to help as best I can'.

ADHD decrees I hyperfocus other games for large swaths of time, but Im always around and reachable. My latest style of ss13 is 'join when needed/wanted' these latest weeks. I can and likely will be around and on server observing near constantly during my active hours if I'm accepted.

Only people I have actually kept in touch with from any of the places I staffed for were two of the head admins for Coyote Bayou; WarriorRose and Aldric_Talvalin
Everywhere else left a bad taste in my mouth, and its been years since I even looked their way.

Appeal Reason: 
       I am appealing, because I do wish to continue playing as Xenochimera. Specifically with the character I have for it. I do not wish to end up being permanently removed from the server. I still wish to get on, and roleplay with the few characters I play as. I have invested way too much time and effort into them, and feel quite discouraged from causing problems. I have made an error in judgement with what I thought I could do, but have been corrected with some heavy handed punishment. Since I was told the next step is to remove me from the server, I have decided that I do not wish such to happen at all. Some players practically only play on chomp's server, and thus I lose out on potential scenes if I am no longer able to play. I no longer wish to use most, if not all of my characters for any sort of PVE related things. This includes bugs, or exploit potential things. I no longer wish to take part in the powergaming, and meta-gaming playstyle that is semi-forced upon players. Since you are basically unable to do certain ICLY Jobs without doing one or both of those. Taking advantage of mechanics, and bending them to your will. If such puts me at risk of being removed, especially as a whitelisted species player. Then I simply no longer wish to deal with such content on station. Instead just want to do scenes, when the mood strikes.


       I wish to have my access to Xenochimera renewed, and only Xenochimera at that. I am more so ashamed of myself for being too stupid, or too dense to understand that even revealing glitches, bugs or exploits to staff via means of in-game testing is bad. As well as trying to use them for general means, which I am not a fan of either. Seeing as this is basically the last hope of playing such species, or even possibly that of playing on the station in general. I hope that I will be able to, and not have to remake or scrap the character I put effort into making. As well as the ICLY character development, and relationships with other players. I do know that I do not have the best judgement at all times, and that it gets in the way of what I do.

A second chance. Char banned on Virgo for being too based. In all reality, there was some conflicts between the type of player I was and what the expectations seemed to be for the community.

Currently host of Torchstation13 and was previously a Developer on chompers before taking a long break from ss13 as a whole.

What do you want to gain from being staff?

The ability to collaborate more efficiently and hopefully continue to help the server and community thrive. Really love this place and the community even though I have my own downstream, and I want to continue helping out as I have been because it's been enjoyable to me.

Probably continuing to support the dev team here as much as possible. I have my own downstream to manage, and so the amount of time I will be able to spend actively working on stuff on Chomp will probably fluctuate; however, I'm the type of person who makes myself as available as I possibly can to answer questions or help out with anything urgent at the drop of a dime.
