Appeal Reason: I really, really feel sorry about all of my actions. I never actually realized at the time I was even committing them until Guti explained the reasoning behind the ban. I do plan on changing how I play my characters if I am unbanned, having them keep to themselves more, in ways to hopefully prevent these sorts of things from happening again, as well as keeping a more open mind to my actions, both when I am playing, and in the discord, to avoid being disruptive again.

I also want to apologize to anyone I've hurt from these actions I had committed. I had no ill intent, it was just that I was not paying attention to my actions, and not understanding the consequences of them. I won't blame anyone other than myself for this, as I did do those things. But I truly regret not thinking before acting.

I will also admit, I am rather anxious about posting this. I'm worried that I'll be seen as 'inferior', and that I'll be grudged if I'm unbanned due to having received this ban. But, I suppose that's a bullet I'll just have to take if that comes true. Which, knowing this community, I doubt it will.

Appeal Reason : I agree it was a mistake joining before I was 18, I sincerely apologise for it but I have now been 18 since February this year and am willing to prove it if needed. I love this server and its community and wish to come back. I feel I have waited long enough to appeal the ban but when it comes down to it its not my decision. If there's anything I can do to come back I will do it. I was also banned off the discord at the same time for the same reason and if that could be lifted too that would be nice.

despite my bitterness over past dramas (you know the one) i remain quite fond of the Chompstation community. there's a distinct lack of events as of late, and i'd like to bring my unique flavor of chaos back to the table. it'd be an excuse to stop splitting my attention between various other places and focus back here where i've found the most enjoyment by far.

What do you want to gain from being staff?

just want to see the community active again. event rounds always draw the most people in. it brings me immense enjoyment to get people really engrossed in the game with shenanigans.

How do you see yourself in the future of the server?

not sure. i've already tried distancing myself after last time but life has lightened up a little bit and i've a decent bit more time to spend cooking up cool stuff:tm: to share with our players. i'd like to leave a lasting impression beyond what i've already done with neat storytelling and clever usage of game mechanics.

What do you want to offer to the community?

short answer: cool stuff:tm:

long answer: i often cook up custom assets for events on the Chompstation downstream, Torchstation, and i'd be happy to show such things if you'd like (or you can look at github, as i have already backported most of them)
i am a sprite artist and plenty of my shinies are in the code already, and more will probably continue to be added
not to mention i have added plenty of POI's for explo, and have done an event exclusive map or two

improv is my middle name. i rarely ever formulate plans, because it never goes the way you expect, so it's better to spare the disappointment. this goes for hosting events on any server, really. and as mentioned previously, i am a story writer on the side, i've probably a novel's worth of short stories and longform story focused roleplays with friends over the years.

I have had time to ask myself if I was truly sorry the first time around now I see I wasn't. Overall what I had done, the raging, the fighting, things that I have done. I should not have done at all for it made others uncomfortable and ruins the experience for everyone. It's not something I want to be known for in my last moments of the server. But words are words and actions speak louder than words. Of course there is no excuse for acting the way I had and breaking the rules and not learning from my mistakes. I am very sorry for what I had done from the raging to the rule breaking to the fighting. These things I could've, no, should've handled a lot better than I had. I had made lots of people if not everyone uncomfortable on the server due to my actions and I can only say I'm sorry, truly sorry. If I had a second chance, I could, no, should make amends.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to appeal my ban from Chompstation. I deeply regret the incident that led to this action and would like to provide some context as well as express my sincere apologies for my actions.  

While my intention was never to harm or accuse anyone, I now fully understand how inappropriate, offensive, and damaging this action was.  

Upon realizing the gravity of my mistake, I immediately deleted the image and issued an apology. However, I failed to consider the harm that such content could cause, even in the brief time it was visible. I deeply regret my lapse in judgment and acknowledge the serious nature of the situation. I do not, and have never, condoned any behavior or content related to pedophilia, and I am horrified that my actions might have suggested otherwise.  

I take full responsibility for my actions and understand the impact they may have had on the community. Moving forward, I am committed to upholding the values and rules of this community and ensuring that my behavior reflects the respect and maturity expected of its members.

Why do you wish to be in the position you choose?: There's a current lack of Event Managers, active ones even moreso, and I believe that having done many mini-events up to this point, it's probably time I properly get myself involved in with this kind of stuff. My main goal is to keep things interesting and enjoyable for the community, and continue to assist with staff where I can as has been done in my moderation and, to a lesser extent, developer duties up to this point.

In addition, I strive and will continue to ensure everybody is enjoying themselves; I only ask that people actually say something if they're not having a good time. I am not a mindreader (yet).

This is the most stressful position in the staff team; how well do you handle negative community feedback?: In the same way I have been as a moderator. This character grew up within the mountains of Sif, having spent her whole life in the dim caves. As a result, she has developed larger ears to hear better and a longer tail and whiskers to feel around the walls. She got her name Ollpheist as her mother was called one when she encountered a group of Irish miners who've stumbled into the dark via a crystaline cave system. She took it as a sign her offspring should be named as such, unknowing that it translates to 'Monster'. After a good few years of being away from her mother, Ollpheist had migrated nearby the site NT operates on, out of the dark.

Summarize what you know about the species lore:

-Shadekin can traverse what's called The Dark
-The Dark is what you are expecting, but slightly off. If non-shadekin noticed something's amidst, things will get more and more wrong until nothingness.
-Ancient war caused shadekin separation
-Shadekin origins faded in to myth
-Shadekin form a central hub to reconnect
-Lots of time exposed to the dark lets them gain the ability to shift plains
-No official species name, so go by individually given names
-Language consists of emotion and audible 'mar'ing along with a few other sounds, but can learn other languages with time

Appeal Reason: I was at first pretty upset when the ban hammer came for me. On the same day I was slapped with a reality check from a friend which made me really step back and think on how I acted in the server. With that being said, it was time for change, from now on if I am allowed back in, I will not rage in deadchat/LOOC, I will not argue with others, I will be respectful and kind, and should something really get under my skin I will just walk away and not throw a hissy fit over it. All in all I am very much sorry for how I acted in the time I have been in this server and like the chance to show that I can change and to be with my friends once more.

Character: Kuro
Kuro is a green eyed shadekin that was found on a mining corporation, who was brought onto the station and taught how to work in the mines. Due to his curious nature, he tend to wander about to meet new people and try new things.After a year or two, he simply wandered off to end up finding himself on a new station.

Why I want to play this species? Because the species is fun and i like the idea of using the abilities to play around and have fun.

He would be a curious shadekin who would collect objects he tends to like. usually a camera or any other object he finds fascinating.

The species encourage me to rp as one of my favorite characts i have, which is just a goofy lad who talks in third person.

Kuro is a seven foot tall, thin, and green eyed shadekin, who is normally wearing a Ushanka and a bomber jacket.

Lore:

Shadekins are very adaptable, with from their shapes to their sizes.

Shadekins have the ability to phase, but phasing in the view of others weaken them and being in bright places as well.

Shadekins see their names as their very own being. As who they are and how others see them. Their name can be anything from what those around them call them, let it be human or any other species.

Mechanics:

Shadekins have the ability to talk to one another by the means of Telepathy, known as their "Marring", phasing in and out of existence, and the ability to heal others through their touch.

Shadekins are not to steal/take out lights, steal items, or intereact with crewmates in a disruptive way without rp.

Shadekins should ask to join an exploration party and not just explore on their own.

Shadekins can only take part of an event/mini event if given permission by the EM.
