How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: A week and a halfish

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: I started playing SS13 two months before the ssethtide, a nerd friend of mine introduced me to it. I've played a lot of SS13 since.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director on, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
Standard operating procedure matters above all else, and, to a lesser degree, corporate regulations. Though it is important to keep in mind that you are NOT security. Enforcing the 'law' goes to security, not the CD.

-While playing any head of staff of any, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
What you can carry varies based on which head of staff is being referred to. The simple answer is that normal heads of staff can carry what is supplied to them in their lockers and such, whilst colony directors and heads of security are offered a slightly wider range of weaponry, due to their duties, with HoS having the most options in total. That being said, the usage and wielding of these weapons is entirely dependent on the alert level; you should not be openly wielding any sort of weapon in a green alert, etc.

-You are the current Chief of, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
Full station hull shields should not be activated unless the circumstances require it. This is to prevent blockage of airlocks and other station facilities.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do
There are a lot of answers to this depending on the situation! If they are not in the right state of mind, and have no records put down in advance, then you are able to ignore their refusal. If they are in a stable state of mind, or if their records say not to go through with some form of procedure, then you may NOT treat them in the way that they did not consent to. Something to keep in mind is that you can also refuse to treat them if their preferred alternative is more harmful than what you suggested.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
The brig is your main responsibility; you are NOT a security officer, you are not supposed to be out arresting people. Your job is to manage the prisoners and the brig itself. You also manage the armories, and are supposed to dish out weaponry in the appropriate events in which they are required and allowed.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
energy guns, lasers, and riot gear are allowed to be handed out to security personnel, though this equipment should not be drawn unless necessary.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
Offer the chance to pay a fine, and if they refuse, you THEN go on to arrest them.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation
If there is no valid reason for them to be within the armory, you should go on to remove them from the area and arrest them immediately.
Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
This depends on the situation, however, assuming the laws are not going against server rules, you should act them out to the best of your abilities, keeping OOC preferences in mind all the while.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
Your laws matter above all else, though they can be ignored if it in a private setting and the purpose of violating the laws is vore.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
This is an interesting one! Whilst you hold no authority as a borg/AI, you are not held to corporate regulations either. An AI isn't a head of staff, but they aren't below a crew member either, they ONLY listen to their laws, and if their laws tell them to do something that isn't against the rules, then it is going to be done.
Tl;Dr AIs are not heads of staff, but can perform command actions if given permission by a head of staff, or if there are absolutely no command personnel to do so.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?
Roleplaying ion laws is an interesting art; from the perspective of an AI, you are not simply given a new law, rather, your entire personality and actions are dictated by these laws. Unless the scenario gives you proper reason to think so, AIs with ion laws are not going to think there is anything wrong with them, usually at least. Overall, you play out the law as best you can, you should NOT be trying to work around the law.
(I'm tired as heck so I apologize if any of these answers are awful or too long)

Approved. A couple of notes:

If you're ever wondering what specifically each Head of Staff can carry (perhaps you've arrested one and aren't sure what is/isn't contraband) this is spelled out in SOP.

A Warden can act as a Security Officer if no other officers are present/available and there's a pressing need but otherwise should stick to managing the brig/armory.
