RE: TechTwins Job Whitelist Application - Kassc - 11-19-2019 You answered "Head of Staff Department" & "Silicon Roles" sections properly. But the answers you written in the "Security Roles" section are very lackluster, I will like you to read security SOP in our wiki and rewrite all the answers in this section. Reference: https://wiki.chompstation13.net/index.php?title=Standard_Operating_Procedure#Security RE: TechTwins Job Whitelist Application - InsanityCat - 11-19-2019 Questions for Security Roles: When do you use your taser? Taser is a great non-lethal weapon. It devastates most simple mobs that invade the station. The weapon is also the prime "Shoot to stun" weapon against carbons and will take them down to be handcuffed in "shoot to stun" situations. When is the proper time to have your armor and helmet equipped? All times. However, can be stowed in the backpack and put on only when necessary, IE before entering a situation. How do you start an encounter with someone charged with a minor crime? A moderate one? A serious crime? For a minor crime, The individual in question should be called to security or brought to security. Their crime should be explained to them, they should be asked to pay their fine or serve their time. For a moderate crime, the individual should be called to security or approached and brought to security. Their crime should be explained to them. If there is a fine available, they should be asked to pay it. If not, they will be required to do the brig time. For a serious crime, the individual needs to be approached with backup on standby. The individual will be asked to stand down. If they do, they can be taken in peacefully. If they do not, I will engage with non-lethal force on Shoot to Disable. Some serious crimes also constitute shoot to kill status and I should be prepared to do that. You're a security officer who is tasked to arrest someone for something minor, lets say breaking and entering into Science. How should you proceed to arrest them? Once arrested what do you do? If possible, I should ask the individual to come to security either via PDA message or over communications. If they come, I should explain to them their crime and have them pay the fine or serve their time. If they don't come, I'd have to hunt them down and attempt to escort them to security. Once at security, tell them their crime and ask them if they would like to pay the fine attached to the crime. (200 Thaler) If they do not pay the crime, continue by explaining to them their rights. Search them, calculate time for the stated crime it would be (3 minutes in brig). If stolen items from Research are found they are to be confiscated and Petty theft can be added to their sentence (additional 3 minutes). Update their status to imprisoned. Return their communication devices, inform HoS if they are unaware of it. Escort them to their cell. Put their belongings in the locker in their cell. Uncuff them if they have cuffs on. Activate the timer, let them into the main brig area. Ensure someone is watching close to the time they should be let out, return their stuff that doesn't need to be returned, release them, set their status to released. RE: TechTwins Job Whitelist Application - InsanityCat - 11-25-2019 When do you use your taser? Any event in which I need to "Shoot to stun" which include, but are not limited to, when an individual is attempting to flee from arrest or is assaulting another crew member. When is the proper time to have armor and helmet equipped? Standard Armor can be worn at all times however it is not required. During Code Blue, it is recommended that helmet and armor is worn but not required. However, on Code Red, it is mandatory that helmet and armor are worn. How do you start an encounter with someone charged with a minor crime? A moderate one? A serious crime? For minor crimes, the individual is asked to pay a fine. If they refuse, they are to be arrested. For moderate and serious crimes, the individual is to be arrested and brought in for processing through standard criminal processing based on the crime committed. You're a security officer who is tasked to arrest someone for something minor, lets say breaking and entering into Science. How should you proceed to arrest them? Once arrested what do you do? First, I need to assess what code the station is on. If this is code green, I ask them to pay the fine. If they refuse, bring them in for standard processing. If the station is on Code Blue or Red, It is recommended that I search them before releasing them. If more is found on them, bring them in based on what more is found on their person. RE: TechTwins Job Whitelist Application - Kassc - 11-25-2019 Alright, this is very good. With this I will give you the thumbs on being added to the whitelist as soon as possible.
