What shouldn't you take? -What are you allowed to carry? What should you carry? -When do you use your taser? -When is the proper time to have your armor and helmet equipped? -How do you start an encounter with someone charged with a minor crime? A moderate one? A serious crime? Here are some guide points for some of your questions. -"If you are playing captain, what are some of the key departments you should know?" As a captain, your main job is to know all departments SOP's and manage the crew accordingly to it. -"How do you start an encounter with someone charged with a minor crime? A moderate one? A serious crime?" For reference <https://wiki.chompstation13.net/index.php?title=Standard_Operating_Procedure#Rules_of_Engagement> is your best guide on how to engage with a perpetrator. An acting CD is held to the same standards as an actual CD. They should of course still take the spare ID. The standard CD equipment being as they are someone important and lug around an all access id: One lethal capable weapon, A non-lethal weapon such as a stun baton, and armor if it's needed. -What are you allowed to carry? What should you carry? Please see previous question. -When do you use your taser? When a suspect is armed, when a suspect is fleeing, or when they're actively attempting assault. -When is the proper time to have your armor and helmet equipped? Standard armor is fine to wear at any time, a standard helmet being kept in bag for engagement. Specialized armor should only be worn during an elevated alert state requiring it. -How do you start an encounter with someone charged with a minor crime? A moderate one? A serious crime? Minor crime: Inform them of their crime, request they pay the appropriate fine and give said collected fine to security. Moderate crime: Inform them of their crime, inform them of your intention to arrest, if they refuse cuffs gather another security member to help in escorting them to security. If another security member isn't available, cuff them anyway and bring them to processing. If they are uncooperative also forcibly detain and cuff. Serious crime: Likely armed, call for backup. Depending on the severity of the crime and what they may be armed with or where they are, shoot to stun or shoot to kill.
