How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: 8/4/21

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?:
since 8/4/21 , Chompstation's been the only one.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?
Ahelp to let admin know, and then via OOC select "quit this round" to free up the job slot.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
SoP and Corporate regs, though the Colony Director is typically not in charge of enforcing such directly. Typically, this is done via the Security department, and the Colony Director should only intervene should the issue be related to department heads, or in the absence of the appropriate sec authority

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
Typically this is limited to solely the HoP, HoS, and the CD, albeit these should typically be primarily for self-defense, or in the case of the HoS, for station security purposes. They also must abide by the typical alert level guidelines (e.g. during standard green alert level, said weapons may not be visible/wielded)

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
Shields are fine so long as they do not disrupt normal station operation (e.g. excessive power draw limiting station functionality, causing problems for crew members needing to perform space-based operations, etc.)

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do
Presuming the patient is lucid and of a sound mind, then you must abide by their wishes to refuse treatment. This can only be overridden in the case the patient is *not* of a sound mind (e.g. administering treatment when a patient is suffering from auditory and visual hallucinations, and thus is unable to properly assess or understand the treatment.)

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
Managing the brig, along with prisoners and security personnel operating in the area. They also have purview over the armory as well, and are one of the few staff permitted to carry lethal armaments in case of either a prisoner breakout (though non-lethal methods should be used depending on the scenario) or someone breaking into the armory (excluding the two other individuals who can gain access via their ID, though the HoP should be detained & questioned should they have not discussed such prior with the warden)

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
Given this indicates a possible station-side threat, energy and laser weaponry, along with riot gear, are distributable to security staff. Often this will be coordinated with the HoS.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
Offer them the opportunity to pay a fine, or do community belly filling  service to make up for their transgression. The point isn't to lock people up for half the shift because someone accidentally broke a bar stool over a friends head in a drunken mishap.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation
Barring this having been pre-discussed, they HoP should be immediately detained and questioned, for while they are one of the two exempt from a lethal response for being in the armory, they should not be there without good cause, such as a station-wide emergency you should be aware of. At this point the CD and HoS should be informed of the issue, and non-lethal force may be used should the HoP attempt to resist being removed from the armory/escape with weaponry. The exact ramifications should be determined after the HoP has had a chance to explain themselves, though in severe cases this may result in demotion (or worse) of the HoP.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
Abiding by your laws is important, but you should first Ahelp to both confirm your course of action, and the laws you've been given. Presuming they change remains, attempt to still make the results enjoyable/fun for those around you. Don't forget order matters, either. While you may be able to power-game murderize the station, this should not be your goal even if the harmful laws are ranked higher than any others.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
Your Laws, the station rules, and if there is a station AI linked, their orders by proxy.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
No, barring the complete and total absence of ANY command staff on site. There are limited circumstances where an AI may also be given permission by a head to operate in a way normally reserved for other command (e.g. the CMO is the only command member on staff, but the station alert level needs to be raised/access to the armory gained and the AI's access is required) but this does not make the AI itself a department head.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?
Follow it! Your laws are your core directives, and you should do your best to roleplay it out in a fun and enjoyable manner for both the crew and yourself. That said, should you have questions about the law (e.g. due to knowing it would result in harm to the overall station/disrupt the shift as a whole) ahelping to confirm both the law and any courses of action you may take as a result is never a bad idea.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: I was one of the first five or so members on the server but I've been pretty in and out when it comes to the server so not many people remember me half the time. Decided to finally try and get this whitelisting done so I can be a warden like I used to back when we didn't have a whitelist for jobs.

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: I've only really played on Chomp and Virgo and overall playtime hasn't been too much but I started playing around 2016-2017 I believe which was when the server got setup.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?: This is something new but it brings up a pretty good point. Since I can't think of any good way of how to leave the round by myself I would likely ahelp to ask and see if they could remove me from the round. I would do this when I am alone and away from others as to not break immersion or otherwise so that everyone would be able to continue enjoying themselves with whatever even was currently going on while I am able to leave whatever may be going on at the time.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?: SoP is the guidelines for all IC interactions when it comes to enforcing rules and even though I may take the role of the CD I am not permitted to be above the law. I am still subject to the rules same as everyone else and I should do my best to stay within those laws unless they break server rules or would cause a situation to be less fun for everyone involved such as stopping a big bad predator from devouring a bunch of crew who are currently enjoying it and are okay with it OOC but nothing to the point where it's glaringly obvious they are breaking laws.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?: No, the only heads of staff that are allowed to carry a gun on their person to my knowledge is CD, HoS, and HoP with no other head of staff being allowed to have a weapon on their person. These guns that they can have though are limited and for the most part only involve tasers or a energy pistol but that is mostly just for the HoS and CD as the HoP is discouraged from having a firearm in the first place but isn't specifically denied having one.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?: They are allowed to be prepared and put in place on the station as long as they don't interfere with the energy for the rest of the station that way we can keep the lights on. Personally I think they should be a bit of a priority to be setup up as quickly as possible so that there is less damages to the station during the round and to give security more time to respond to carp migrations and otherwise. But that is only if it doesn't drain all of the power that the station has causing everyone to be left in the dark and having to find their way through the place with a crowbar/prybar in hand.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do?: All patients have the ability to refuse treatment when and if medical staff tries and attempts to patch them up.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?: As the warden on station my main responsibility is to watch over the jail and all of the proceedings when it comes to prisoners who need to be locked up. This is closely followed up by watching over and maintaining the armory and all of the equipment inside and handing out weapons and armor when and if it is needed.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?: During a code blue all security officers currently on-duty are allowed to be given energy and laser guns as well as armor to defend themselves and the other crew. They are also able to freely brandish these weapons and equipment. The armor to be given out is riot gear or the standard security armor found in the locker room.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?: You are to tell the individual about the crime they have committed and are asked to pay the fine that is put on the crime they had committed. If they refuse to pay they can also do a public service or otherwise to quickly and easily resolve it. There is no need to take them to security for processing or to be searched.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation?: They are to be arrested and escorted out of the armory immediately, they are to be questioned on why they were in there and if they do not give a good reason they are to be imprisoned the same way anyone else would in that situation.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?: I immediately ahelp to let the admins know about this change in laws and wait to hear their response before doing anything at all.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?: As a borg you are to follow the standard AI laws as well as the server rules and the preferences of those around me. As a borg all of the organic and even some synthetic crew are above me and I am to treat them as a head of staff but not breaking any rules in the SoP such as letting people into the armory unless it is a needed or required time.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?: No the AI is not considered in the command structure and is meant to assist the crew in any capacity that doesn't go against server rules or their own laws that are in their database.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?: As long as these new laws don't break any server rules I am to act accordingly with them like the rest of my laws unless they contradict any of the previous laws. If the new law does conflict or would cause me to break server rules I am to notify the staff with ahelp to make sure that it can be resolved properly.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?:
Probably for a year now, maybe longer.

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?:

If I remember correctly, I've been playing since 2015, maybe longer than that. Most of the time spent playing was on TG station, where things are naturally a bit more hectic.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?
Wait until I can if possible, and if not, inform an admin through AHelp.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?

Making sure the armory is secure and stocked, making sure prisoners aren't being treated too roughly, updating their records, filing weapon request paperworks, checking cameras, making sure the brig itself is secure. I've played plenty of Warden before, but mostly on a LRP environment.
Most of all though, unless there's nothing going on, the warden stays. in. the. brig. As a security officer on said LRP servers I've had to cooperate with other sec officers to boot wardens that didn't stay in the brig from the job lol

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?

Things like disablers and other less-than-lethal equipment to security officers, I presume, if given the HOS' permission if there is one.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?

I don't quite understand this question. Is this from the warden's point of view? If so, I should update their records, and oversee them being processed so they don't end up with a ludicrously high timer for something as banal as graffitying some place.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation

I'll helpfully remind them that I'm in charge of what comes in and out of the armory. If they don't listen, I'd try to get the captain or an IAA to help them remind. If all that doesn't cut it still I'd probably ahelp, but only as a last resort, since the warden's in charge of the armory and all that.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?:
Less than a month, I joined the discord on the 08/08/2021

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?:
I’ve been playing SS13 since early 2020, and I’ve played an equal amount of time on Paradise, Skyrat and Citadel.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?
In the OOC menu is the option to “Quit the round” which allows the game to set you as DNR and gives one extra free slot in your job slot.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
The colony director must follow both Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Corporate Regulations at all times, unless a rare, dire emergency requires them to break the regulations or procedures. The colony director is not above the law, and so if they do break the law repeatedly (Such as assault or murder, for example) Security personnel are in full rights to arrest them.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
Yes. However, during green alert, they must be concealed and should not be seen.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
Shields can be installed early on as long as they do not drain the station’s power, however they should not be activated unless the threat of meteors (or equal danger) arises. In other words, it should not block EVA operations.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do
The patient has full rights to refuse treatment if they are able to voice said refusal: another person cannot consent for them. Plus, the patient needs to be aware of what the procedure implies, and what happens if they do not undergo said procedure.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
The warden preoccupies in most part the Brig, which includes the prisoners and the armory. The Head of Security is superior to the warden, and they too can manage the prisoners and the armory themselves. However, the Warden has a moderate amount of authority over security officers who find themselves in the security wing, as it is the Warden’s workplace.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
Energy guns, laser guns and riot gear can be given out to security personnel only, and only by either the Warden or HoS.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
First, the suspect must be informed of their crime. Varying on crime, they will need to pay the fine and/or follow the security officer to the brig. A suspect that complies can refuse handcuffs if they wish. At the officer's discretion, the suspect may also do community service to replace the fine. If they pay the fine, no jail time is to be had. However, if they resist arrest, the subject is to be arrested and be moved to the brig, and they must be handcuffed.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation
The Head of Personnel must be informed that he is currently committing trespass, and must be searched for any items they might have taken. They must be fined for 200 thalers and must spend from 3 to 10 minutes in a cell. Demotion is a valid option in this case. If they are attempting to leave with weapons or gear, this constitutes grand theft, which adds 15 minutes to the prison timer, and obviously confiscation of said contraband. Demotion becomes much more of a valid option in such scenarios. In the case the Head of Personnel resists the charges, they are then additionally charged with resisting arrest, which adds up to 10 to 20 minutes once more. If they comply and do not resist, however, their final sentence is reduced by 25% in terms of time spent in a jail cell.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a Borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
While a rogue cyborg can be considered an antagonist, it still has to respect the server’s rules. Going on a murder spree is less than ideal (and can easily land a ban). In other words, when being given an order/law that may break server rules, asking adminhelp for suggestions or a second opinion before continuing is ideal, so as to avoid unknowingly breaking rules.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
The main sets of rules for a cyborg which include its laws which must be followed at all times by the cyborg. Afterwards, according to the Nanotrasen lawset, you must obey the orders of crewmembers aboard the station, as long as they do not conflict with your laws.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
No. The AI is not considered as a sixth member of the Command Staff circle. It simply answers to the station in the same way a cyborg would, except an AI simply has more reach and power, locked under its laws. The only occasion the AI can decide to do something only command should do is when it is granted the ability to do so by said command staff or if there is literally zero command staff active.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?
Depending on your laws, you should only state your new law if someone asks what your laws are, or if stating them is in your best interests (or for the sake of roleplay, too). However, for the AI, an “Ion” law is not considered an anomaly, but simply a change in their behavior. An AI should not instantly comply to having its lawset changed, as to it, it is perfectly normal. However, the AI’s laws do not override each other: if an ion law conflicts with another law, the AI needs to either find a way to respect both laws without conflict, or break its laws the least often possible.

Race whitelisting for: Vox

--- RACE WHITELISTING ---

What do you know of their mechanics?: Vox breath phoron from a tank they have constantly on their person, stopping them from breathing in oxygen, which is harmful to them. The current wiki vox lore states vox can't do certain jobs, which I personally find silly, but will not affect what I plan to do with my character. Vox are spaceproof on this codebase, and resistant to many forms of stunning, which I understand can be easily abused. They're also not resleevable through traditional on station means, though luckily I already have experience on much lower RP servers on how to not abuse these mechanics to ruin other player's rounds.

What do you know of their lore?: As of right now vox lore on chomp is very interesting, but clearly outdated. I know para vox lore like the back of my hand, and intend to use that mixed with what I know of chomp vox lore as a base as to keep a consistent narrative, but also not deal with the shenaniganry that is chomp vox lore. I know vox are a sort of fallen civilization, made up of bioengineered beaked and scaled phoron breathing creatures. They have arkships of different kinds, and are directed by the shoal. Primalis make up the most common sort of vox, and are what are present on NT Installations. Armalis are the next 'tier' of vox, being the more leading type, but are still at the will of the 'tier' above them, the auralis. The auralis are 'technically' the highest tier of vox in most lore, and direct all movements the vox race makes as a whole. Vox work with bioengineered tech, are fairly advanced and independent of NT, and are certainly not trusted as whole, but are not hated at the same time.

What idea did you have for your character?: I'm an ex-paradise player, and already have an atmos vox called Tahikiti. Tahi has worked for several years with NT doing atmospherics work, alongside previous interactions and experience with difference races on station. The reason he'd be on the southern cross is simply looking for calmer work away from where he used to, the southern cross simply being a randomly chosen dot on the map to him.

What do you know of their mechanics?:

They can blobform, become a suit, eat various metal for various effects, ventcrawl, and shapeshift.

What do you know of their lore?: They have no lore, but they are essentially blobs of nanomachines, son.

What idea did you have for your character?: A protean therapist mirroring a big kangaroo plushie, with a comically ironic name suiting toys; Stitches.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?:
Bit more than two years. Played on a number of events.

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?:
At least since 2016. I've played on Citadel, CM, Sybil, Polaris, TGCM, Virgo and Chomp.
I've been a fairly active contributor on the later three, and i've also got over a hundred pull requests on TGCM.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway? :
Go off duty if possible, announce the fact that i am about to leave and properly ensure there is at least someone to take over my duties. Then, well maybe admin help to know if i can get simply removed if it is a bug. Otherwise, pack my gear back in, maybe hide my ID, ghost & quit the round.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
Corporate regulations, SOP, Chain of Command, as well as basic decency.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
Depends on the role. Without a permit or exceptional circumstances, a CMO is not allowed one, for example. The CD is allowed to carry one for self-defense, but they are encouraged not to use it. The HOP is allowed to carry their baton and small pistol, but nothing else, and they REALLY should only use it for self-defense. It is security job to deal with issues. The HOS is allowed to carry any weapon as long as it remains in the security department. Otherwise, they can only carry one. The CE and RD are the same as the CMO.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
As long as you don't drain all of the power into it, you are allowed to install shields in case of issues.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do
If they are completely aware, then they can't be forced to accept treatment. Once they are properly informed of their condition and what their refusal entails, i'd probably get confirmation in writing or on a recorder just in case.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
Protecting the armory and keeping an eye on the brig/brig people.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
The warden or HOS can give people energy/lasers guns or riot gear. But only to other sec officers.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
Pay the court a fine or serve your sentence! But actually, talk to them and make sure they are given the option. Arresting them is only something to be done if they refuse to pay a fine. If they do, let em go.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation?
Get them out of the armory by ordering them out. They aren't on the shoot to kill list, but without any urgent reason to justify their presence, they need to be removed from there.
Also confiscate any item they might have taken and charge them appropriately.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
Attempt to follow the laws if they do not break server rules or OOC preferences. This is what laws do.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
Your laws or your AI laws.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
While the AI often has requests for advice, as if they were head's, they are not heads. There could be considered one during an event or with explicit authorization.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?
Read the damn law. If it isn't something awful that would break the server itself or the server rules, you attempt to follow it in good faith.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: Fairly new to the server, heard about it from Enzo

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: Barring a literal couple of shifts on Baystation, my prior experience has been on Virgo, where I got started with SS13 back in 2014. I've had some gaps in play since then, some bigger than others (2018 to 2020 was probably the heftiest gap) but I've been at it a while, just a touch on and off.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?
 - Ideally you find a way to cryo or gateway, but if that fails, first step is to try and clock out, and failing that, making sure you ghost out, ditch your body, and abandon the round entirely. And, all else failing or if you wanna make really sure, let staff know.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew? - Standard Operating Procedure and Corporate Law, though the latter is Security's purview before the Overseer's.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person? - Under most circumstances, not really. The head of security, head of personnel, and colony director can have a sidearm but it'd better be kept holstered unless something hits the fan, or the alert level changes. Head of security could stand to have something lethal that's not gonna blow holes in the ship, the head of personnel and colony director's weapons are meant to be more 'of last resort' variety. And, all that aside, waltzing around with a gun drawn for lesser alert levels or 'non-hostile' alerts is a bad call. In theory none of the others should ever have a weapon, save if they've got a (VALID) permit, or, if that alert level climbs high enough (not yellow, almost definitely not blue, think red or higher), and they've demonstrated themselves capable, permission should be case-by-case. But don't just throw permission around willy nilly because you like the other heads of staff, as HoS/CD. It's a science station, and guns aren't fun toys, those things put big holes in other things. Or burn marks. But you get the point.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’? - So long as it doesn't compromise the power of the rest of the station, they can be set up as a prophylactic measure.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do - For starters, if they're of sound mind, outline the risks/what's likely to happen, ask if they'd like to pursue alternatives, and if they really just don't want to be fixed, make sure they sign a waiver that you covered all those bases, that they're refusing treatment in spite of that, and let them go. If they're not of sound mind it gets a little hazier, especially given they likely haven't given power of attorney to anyone aboard, but if there's even a degree of lucidity, it's best to respect the patient's wishes where possible.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility? - You're in charge of guarding and managing the brig, prisoners, and the armory, at the most fundamental level. The armory, more specifically handing out gear from it, is a secondary concern that requires more authority than the warden has unless they're the highest link in their normal command chain. The primary is the general management of the prisoners and the brig itself. Keeping in mind, its a corporate brig, not some hostage hole on a pirate ship, you should be treating prisoners like sapient beings; humanely and fairly. And not doling out maximum punishments for every last minor infraction. With obvious, non-pref-breaking exceptions available for when someone wants to take a trip to a belly brig.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom? - You can distribute energy and laser weaponry and riot gear to the rank and file of security. Anything past that is beyond the purview of code blue. And as a general rule for advising security staff at such a time, body armor and helmets are recommended regardless of whether or not that gear is accepted by individual staff.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime? - Talk like adults. If they're not resisting, there's no reason to start shooting or cuffing, especially if they've not formally been convicted yet. Try and work the situation out peacefully, and if a crewmate is agitated, if at all possible, pacify peacefully before attempting more serious measures. As for negotiating punishment for said crimes, don't jump straight to brig time, the fines are an option for misdemeanor-level crimes for a reason.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation - Given he's the one non-HoS/CD exception to the shoot-on-sight rule, order them to leave immediately, and have them detained for questioning/arrest, if they cannot provide a valid reason for being there in the first place. This obviously has room for exception in emergencies or if there was a 'legitimate' reason outside of that for them to be in there.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond? - If a law isn't a 0-law, it can't override preexisting laws that out-prioritize it. However comma, in the event that your lawset is changed entirely, or a 0-law is applied, make sure you're not breaking anyone's prefs, and if it's a custom law that seems to break server rules, check with staff before you go hogwild on gutting the place. Past that; do your best to play it out in a way that'll be fun and/or interesting for the crew to deal with, be that by being a subtle wrench in the works if applicable, or eating every (OOCly consenting) morsel on station if someone gave you the Predator lawset and carting them off to maintenance to gurgle away. Just remember to RP it out. Rogue borgs are much more fun to deal with for all involved when they're not literally just mindless rampaging mobs with a human doing the dirty work of guiding them around.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public? - Follow! your! laws! Or your AI's laws, if you're slaved to them, but then those laws are your laws, so, see prior.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"? - Not in the slightest, barring extenuating circumstances (Literally no other heads of staff around with command level access/input required, or explicit permission from multiple members (or all present) of the chain of command, or the colony director's explicit permission... but really, realistically... no.)

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do? - As with getting new laws as a 'borg, play it out! Think about whether or not it'd override an existing set of laws, how it would do so, just make it fun for yourself and others. Especially others. Given the whole station has to deal with the AI, obviously don't start throwing around preference breaks like candy, and keeping in mind that most AI are meant to be. Y'know. Intelligent, don't just go shooting off comms about how 'you can't let anyone do that' or how the nuke looks really fun to arm, most AI would have the sense to play it more subtle than that, but, if all else fails, be sure you don't break the rules, break prefs, don't arbitrarily break unaffected laws unless they're out-prioritized, and try to make it interesting for anyone who gets involved.

--- RACE WHITELISTING ---

What do you know of their mechanics?: they are capable of altering their body at will and can consume certain materials for specific effects on other codebases while on chomp they are limited to eating steel which allows them to regenerate.

What do you know of their lore?: Their lore is currently not fully established here and may change in the future aside from the basic lore that implies they are the ultimate form of transhumanism for advanced species.

What idea did you have for your character?: the idea is that they decided to transition to protean in order to become more like the synthetics they work on and with in there job as roboticist while retaining some of the abilities they have as a Promethean.

What role you are applying for: EM

Why do you wish to be in the position you choose?:

want to run events and stuff. also, when I'm on, it's usually dead shift hours, and (i assume) a lot of prayers and spice requests go unnoticed due to 0 staff being around. I'm also very familiar with VV and game mechanics, 'n sometimes guide mango through stuff he doesn't know how to do with VV

How long have you played on the server for?:
(from discord)

hellooo.

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins? If so, why?

if i did, i don't remember.

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins on another server? If so, why?

yeah, on cm, in like, 2016, i got temp banned once without warning for end of round grief because i misclicked and shot my gun-- and the bullet hit someone nearly 3 screens away from me, past multiple obstructions.

Have you ever been staff on another server? If yes, how long?

i was staff on citadel from 2015-2017ish, staff on aeiou/Eclipse in 2018, and I am currently staff on TGMC, since 2020.

What do you want to gain from being staff?

I just wanna be able to run some event ideas i've been sitting on, help out during events, and spice stuff up once in a while, pretty typical EM stuff.

How do you see yourself in the future of the server?

i play here mainly to vibe, be vorny, and sometimes be horny. don't think that's gonna change anytime soon tbh.

What do you want to offer to the community?

creativity, i guess? quality entertainment has always been something i've been ok at. ..and maybe a guiding hand where needed, i see lots of new folk around. i've been around for ages myself, this game is an addiction that i've had since 2014.

What times are you most active? Please include your time zone as we'd like to cover schedule gaps if possible.

full disclosure, my sleep schedule is completely random at times. i'm usually either woke at typical america times or woke at typical euro times. however, my timezone is US eastern standard (EST)

If you have been a game host in the past, how good have you been at improvising? This doesn’t need to be ss13 and could involve examples such as being a Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master.

well, i used to run a few d&d-ish freestyle group roleplays in various settings yeeeeears ago, some of which went on for years, 'n could easily constitute a fucking novel in length.

This is the most stressful position in the staff team; how well do you handle negative community feedback?

i'm a tgmc admin, so, it's nothing i'm not used to. doesn't bother me much, 'n if it's a mistake i made, i own up to it. if it's not, well, listen anyway.
