How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: Since at least January of 2021

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: I have been playing SS13 on and off for about 9 years beginning with Baystation in 2012. I later played Facepunch and more memorably BestRP. I migrated over to Citadel Station in 2015, maybe 2014, and remained there until I stopped playing altogether in 2018 as I mostly switched to a server called Arfs and Yawn.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway? If it is an important job I would contact the admins about sudden developments leaving me unable to exit the round through the normal means.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew? - The regulations that the colony director would be most concerned with enforcing would be SOP and would extend to all departments and oneself as the head of the station.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person? - In almost every circumstance most heads of staff would not be carrying firearms around, the only exceptions to this being the roles of colony director, the head of personnel, and the head of security and would not be brandished if the station is in green alert.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’? - Due to the dangers of meteors posed towards life on the station and the productivity of the enterprise, it is within the realm of reason that the shields be set up and turned on at all times, barring the cases that they block the airlocks and the interior spaces of the station itself.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do - The patient has the right to deny treatment from medical if they so choose with the caveat that they are sober and sane enough to do so. If they prove to be a danger to the crew, then the use of psychologists giving a psych evaluation would be called for as well as treatment to their injuries.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility? - To keep prisoners within their cells, correct the records of prisoners for the crime, make sure that they are in good health, and have the proper rights read to them. Also to hand out gear to the rest of security when a threat is posed and the alert level is raised. Their responsibilities also lie with making sure that the armory is secure and has not had anything taken out of it without the proper credentials.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom? - With the right alert level being set and an apparent threat to the security of the station, it is up to the HoS and/or the Warden to hand out the appropriate gear for the occasion, from riot gear to security hardsuits, as well as armaments to staff of security.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime? - Engage in a dialogue with the suspect before jumping to any method of tackling them into a set of handcuffs first. Such as it is only a fine or a short brig sentence. Make sure that they know their options are known to them.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation - If one has not been informed of special permissions from the head of security or the colony director, acting or not, detain the HoP and ask for clarification from the HoS or the CD. If the HoP has had no permissions, then brig the HoP and potentially demote them.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond? - If the laws for outright harm on the crew with no exceptions, ahelp the admins in case it was a mistake and to confirm it is right for the round before going ahead with them.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public? - All of the current assigned laws that have been given to the borg, whether that be from the start of the shift, from any changes in the round, or from being linked to the AI's and their current laws. These should be followed to the best of one's ability through the round.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"? - No, the AI is the servant of the station and is in theory below the rank of the crew, only adhering to the laws and the orders from the crew if they do not conflict with such laws.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do? - Roll with the ion law to the fullest to my ability as long as it does not break the server rules themselves.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: Approximately four months now.

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: I've been playing since November 2020. I started playing goon, played for about a month before moving to para and learning the majority of what I know there. I then moved on to TGMC, an offshoot TGMC ERP server, then vorestation a week before I moved to chomp.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?
Ahelp letting staff know you have to go, but can't get off normally, then if you can wait, wait for a staff member to confirm you're good to go, otherwise ghost and leave to what you need to.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
You're job as Colony Director is to enfore Standard Operating Procedure.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
No, not unless you are the head of security, colony director, or head of personnel. In such cases, or if it is allowed by the head of security, you may keep your weapon concealed unless it is needed for use in a reasonable context, or it is an emergency.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
Full station hull shields are allowed to be installed if they do not impede the station's power, or the station's crew as a precautionary measure to meteors and other issues.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do
Accept that they refuse treatment, as is their right, and offer them alternatives to being treated without harrassing them. If you determine they are mentally incapable of taking care of themselves, or are impaired in some way, treat them as normal, restraining them if needed. Be careful as to not violate someone's conscious right to not be treated, while also treating those not conscious enough to refuse it.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
Ensure the brig, armory, and rest of the sec department is functional, secure, and accessible, alongside making sure all criminals are processed, processed properly, and stay only as long as is needed in processing, and then their cell.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
Security personnel may be dealt out energy weapons and riot gear to personnel, alongside any treat neutralization equipment that is mission critical to dealing with the cause of the code blue. The HoS, (or warden, if the HoS is on station) must hand out this weaponry, and keep in mind who gets what.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
Calmly question the subject, verify the validity of the crime and it's evidence, give the suspect a warning, or a fine depending on the context, or severity of the crime even if it is low level. If they have repeatedly violated this crime, follow the law on repeat law breaks.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation
In a case of non-emergency, or in any case where it wouldn't make sense for the head of personnel to be in the armory, Immediately and calmly detain the Head of Personnel, vacating him of the armory. Search and process the head of personnel for major trespass and any other crimes they may have commited in their time entering, and subsequently being in the armory.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
With OOC prefs, and the good fun of the round and other players in mind, follow your laws to a T, and interpret them the best way you can.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
Remember your particular role as a borg on station, follow your laws, and don't abuse being a borg for your own personal pleasure without keeping the role's responsibility in mind.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
No, you are considered an extension of the crew, put on station to assist and forward the station's goals through your laws.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?
Follow it as you would if you were a borg with their laws changed.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: About 2 months

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?:
3 and a half years.

Chronological order: Archangles (baystation code,) VORE Station, Bastion of Hestia (V1 & 2, Baystation,) Colonial Marines, Nev NorthernLight (not sure what the code base is,) Citadel RP & Citadel Main, and Chomp.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?
[Edited: Discoverer 'Quit the round' verb] If needed Ahelp that I am leaving (mostly in the case of event) if I am that important to it + use the 'Quit the round' verb.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
The Directors job is to ensure that the other Heads of Staff are following SOP and Regs though if handling crew the most they should do is be diplomatic and talk, the Director should not be the one dishing out fines or arrests personally.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
Director, HOP, and HOS are allowed to have a non-lethal weapon capable of switching to lethal.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
The regulations indicate that the shields can go up at anytime (sooner the better) and are a precautionary defense from the various hazards that space can toss at the station. Shields must be set up with the proper settings to avoid blocking access to docks and airlocks and of course try to avoid blocking the halls inside the station.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do?
In situations like this, the person is to be advised of the risks by refusing but ultimately the CMO can not force the person to take any treatment. No means no in this situation.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
The armory is the top priority, taking physical or mental note of all the gear inside alongside being the one to hand out or grant access to the armory in emergencies.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
For this it is treated about the same as code red, officers can be given armor and lethal weapons by the warden. The gear would only go to Security staff. (special context for any exceptions to that.)

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
Indicate either in person or over radio their choice of fine or brig time also take into account of co-operation.
Example if someone has scribbled all over the floor (Vandalism) then when you inform them of the charge they clean up the mess, the charges can be completely dropped.
In the case someone broke a bunch of windows, the more extreme situation calls for the charge to be applied.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation?
"HOP What are you doing in the armory? You can't be in here." Based on the context of the situation this could be allowed but in general the HOP should not be there and would just be taken out of the armory and have their ID checked.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
First I would A-help because this server does not often have hostile AI. If permitted then I would be your usual AI turned bad but if not allowed then I would start messing with doors and lights indicating something is wrong without plainly yelling it out.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
Borgs have a huge variety of personalities but they should generally follow their laws and avoid being confrontational because it may make them seem.. rogue.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
Ah, how all AI players wish they were a Head of Staff. No they are not a Head. They are just the stations super computer, there to assist the crew.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?
Follow that law to the best of your abilities with few exceptions such as any possible harm laws.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: About four months consistently!

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: Only ever played on CHOMPstation!

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?
Inform staff of the situation by using the Ahelp verb and that you have to go, but cannot use typical means. After doing so, you can ghost and quit the round the round.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
When you are the Colony Director it is your (And the role's) duty to enforce and maintain Standard Operating Procedure.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
No heads of staff are permitted to carry guns on hand with exceptions for the Colony Director, Head of Security and Head of Personnel. At most it must remain a concealed carry energy pistol for absolute emergency situations only, and they need permission from the Head of Security or the Colony Director.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
Full station shields are permitted to be activated in the instance of a logical and preemptive manner for safety reasons, although are to be de-activated if they take or drain the energy from the station too excessively. They may also be installed prior aslong as they don't interfere or impede the crew.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do
You are to ensure treatment if they are in an impaired mental state, Such as from drugs or an IC or involuntary mental condition. However if the patient is of sound mind, you must accept and document the refusal of treatment. You cannot force treatment on anyone.
Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
The warden monitors and tends to the brig, making sure it is secure and functional, while making sure those within are tended to and released properly and when appropriate.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
During a 'code blue', the HoS, (Or lacking in HoS, the Warden) has permission to distribute energy weapons and riot gear to security personnel.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
A verbal warning is given if the low level crime is proven, and if applicable, the appropriate fine should be applied.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation
If you find the Head of Personnel in the armoury without a real reason or situation that would even make sense for them to be in there, They should be searched and arrested for trespassing and possible theft, if they were sneaking in and did in fact aquire arms.
Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
You follow those new laws while staying within server rules and OOC prefs, if your laws would conflict with either or, ahelp for salvation or advice.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
You should always follow your provided laws and aid the crew! Unless your laws say otherwise, But follow them all to the best of your ability.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
AI is not Head of staff, but rather an extension of the crew to help them strive.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?

You follow the new law as long as it does not conflict with other laws, break OOC prefs, or server rules.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: I started playing in early 2019 but took a long several months-long, (Maybe year-long) hiatus. I came back in August of 2020

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: I've been playing for seven years. I've played on Virgo, Citadel, Paradise
Colonial Marines, Terra Gov Marines, Skyrat, SCP13 (now dead), Grimdark 13, Halostation13, CEV Eris, Lifeweb, IS12 and its warfare variant, Lebansarum, Fortuna 13
FTL 13 (now dead),  Bad Deathclaw (now dead I think), Sojourn, Deadspace 13, and Vesta of Orion (now dead), and brief visits to a few others.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway? Ghost and use the Quit the Server verb to open the slot for others, if possible return gear and body to a place they are likely to be found.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew? The Priority as CD is S.O.P. . Corp Regs should be followed but their enforcement should be delegated to
Security with the only exemption of urgent emergencies where there is no security personnel, it is better form to fax for security, barring extreme circumstances where immediate action is required.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person? Heads of staff are only entitled to the weapons that can be found in their starting locker, and officers, which often include guns.
Exemptions include a HOP acting as Director due to a Director being absent, the HOP may have additional weapons (although this is discouraged)
The research Director naturally has the same privilege as the rest of the Science crew in carrying weapons within the walls of the Research department, for Research purposes only.
The Colony Director is recommended to always be armed, but may only be armed with one weapon, aside from their Locker weaponry
The Head of Security within the brig may carry any non-explosive weapons. Outside the brig, they may carry weapons that are small enough to fit in a backpack (IE. not rifles, or shotguns) And is recommend to always be armed

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’? They are permitted to be installed preemptively so long as they do not interfere with the Station's power

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do, All I can do is encourage the treatment, but otherwise  be sure the patient understands, the benefits, risks, alternatives, and consequences for refusing treatment (from the affliction they are suffering, no outside penalties may be inflicted of course)
If the Affliction is mental then the patient is entitled to an addendum to their medical records to settle consent if they should become incapable of making rational decisions in the future

Warden/Head of Security:

-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility? Overseeing the Brig, and its functions, chiefly the management of prisoners, and ensuring their processing, imprisonment,
and discharge are done properly and not abusive, this includes paperwork (specifically updating records and arrest status). The second is the distribution of weapons to standard officers as required by the situation and allowed by S.O.P.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom? Energy Weapons, and Laser guns for Weaponry, and Riot armor and shields for armor. This is equipment for Security personnel.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime? Inform the suspect of the crime they are accused of and then present their options. Either a fine,
(if applicable), or arrest. If they are arrested they should be informed about their right to IAA representation. Handcuffs are not required if the suspect is compliant.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation. The Head of Personnel is exempt from the Shoot to kill policy of intruders in the armory but is still not permitted inside. They must be asked to leave,
and the reason for the intrusion question. If the response is not reasonable they are subject to arrest.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond? Ahelp the laws, and discuss with admins the best way to handle the situation,
if Admins approve follow the laws in a way that will still be engaging or entertaining to players

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public? The Borg's given, default, or AI Synched laws, unless The Previous question is in play. Borgs are toasters, A toaster does not question its owners.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"? You are not. The AI is a very expensive toaster, Toasters are not leaders.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do? Follow the Law, It's part of the game, of course, I will attempt to do in the most entertaining and avoid causing misery (oocly) A Toaster does not know when it is broken.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?:
Exactly 0 hours here, but I've spent a few years on-and-off on Citadel's RP server and a few rounds on VOREStation, which are pretty similar.

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?:
I've been playing since late 2017, started on Yogs, went to Citadel Main, then Citadel RP, spent a little while as an admin on Citadel, and right now I'm kinda hopping around trying a few more stations such as Skyrat, HyperStation, and VOREstation. Also, for the record, I primarily play mime most everywhere I go, and currently have it whitelisted on Citadel RP and VOREStation.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?
I suppose in such an emergency, I'd put my departmental items away, make an ahelp to let admins know, head to an unused dorm room, then use the quit-the-round verb.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
I suppose as a Colony Director it's your job to ensure that Corporate Regulations and SOP are followed, but primarily your role is the delegation of responsibilities to others to make sure that the things that need done get done.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
Unless you're the Colony Director, Head of Security, or you have a permit for one, you shouldn't be carrying around guns wherever you go, and even then, you shouldn't be openly carrying them unless its an emergency that requires it.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
Install them ahead of time, only if the station has enough power to sustain them.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do
Make sure the patient is in a mindset capable of making an informed decision, then inform the patient of the outcome should they still refuse the treatment. If they still say refuse, then do not treat them.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
Looking after the prisoners in the brig, as well as handling the armory.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
You're allowed to handout energy weapons on code blue. However, in an emergency, or at behest of the Head of Security, riot gear may be used.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
Stop and question the suspect to determine guilt, and if indeed guilty, give them an appropriate fine, if applicable.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation
Question the Head of Personnel to determine if they have suitable reason to be within the armory, if not, attempt to escort them out of the armory, arresting if they resist.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
Ahelp before acting upon the laws, just in case the law change was made in bad faith, rather than by an antagonist during an event.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
Both server rules and whatever laws you may have as a silicon.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
No.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?
Continue to attempt to follow all laws, including the new ion law, however you may want to ahelp before attempting to follow the law if it may lead to rule breaking behavior. Of course, someone is likely to notice the ion storm and ask about your laws, which may lead to the law being removed in short order anyway.

What do you know of their mechanics?: Welp, to be fair - there is a whole bunch to cover. First of all - they are capable of shapeshifting(which is very cool, to be honest). Then we have their blob form plus the ability to consume metal to restore their health (and also limbs if required).

What do you know of their lore?: Not like I can tell much here - protean's lore has yet to be established here. But basically - they are a bunch of nanomachines (aka grey goo) capable of multiple things, varying from mild appearance changing to having no issue with melting whole sheets of metal in order to restore own condition.

What idea did you have for your character?: My character is supposed to be a weird, obviously eccentric woman who finds her current capabilities as the means of messing with others in multiple ways(from simple mischief to obvious lewd advances) while still keeping up the mask of a serious person when required. Otherwise - how would've she gotten nanite-based chassis, huh?

Race whitelisting for: Xenochimera

--- RACE WHITELISTING ---

What do you know of their mechanics?:

I know that Xenochimera have an intrinsic feral trait, that can be triggered through several means, lack of food or injury being the most prominent, but sheer stress alone can also invoke this too. A feral chimera will resort to an almost beastlight state, your typical fight or flight response depending on what the trigger was (hungry - go hunt, for instance - injured? flee somewhere safer). Chimera that are in a feral state will naturally prefer quiet, dark places, less of a strain on their own senses and often the best place to steal a quick meal. This often means they're going to head for the maintenance tunnels, away from the bright lighting and electronic Whirrrs of all the machinery and computers.

They're not a fan of the cold which makes trips to Sif a challenge slowing them down and stressing them, and they're also prone to hallucinations.

From a roleplay perspective, this needs to strike a careful balance between the proactive 'predatory' play and flee, so as to not just become a feral antag (but still pose some fun for Security, or whomever is daring enough to try to get them to calm down).

They also have the ability to morph, based on what they've eaten, and it's a incubation process to shift which can take between 10 and 15 minutes, more or less depending on how well fed they are. During this time they're actually immune to decompression in space, up until they wake up, but as soon as htey do they suffer from decompression akin to a typical human would, including organ damage.

What do you know of their lore?:

They're not so m uch a single organism, but a colony of different organisms all collectively functioning as a singular being. The Xenochimera, as per their name, survive and adapt by procuring traits and genes from other species, this is a powerful tool as it allows them to thrive in any environment that supports life, but has the drawback of every one being so utterly unique that there's no hope of reproducing them if they are destroyed utterly, through cloning, sleeving or any other medical method. More powerful and advanced hardware might be able to reconstitute the organism, perhaps through a prior donation of cellular colelctions, just not on station. Even two chimera who've abosrbed the same sequence of animals will still be entirely difeernt due to the variations in the animals and a whole chaos of other factors.

Death isn't quite the end for a chimera, for they can be revived, either with an injection or ingetsion of protein to kickstart the process. A sufficiently well fed, but wounded chimera can regenerate on their own, this is pretty messy (they effectively explode).

that's their intrinsic traits, but chimera are capable of stealing traits from others - again, every chimera is unique.

Their very nature is an enigma, nobody knows where they came from,  nor can really pin down quite what they are. They're a curiosity to xenibiologists due to how unique they are, and naturally they are a cause for concern amongst security (against rampaging ferals) and medical (how to treat them and calm them down for proper patient care).

What idea did you have for your character?:

My idea is for a wilderness survival type character, one who is exceedingly proficient in mining through their physical attributes and medical fields, with their ability to literally absorb the biology of other races, it's not too hard to think how one could be so intricately familiar even if their medical background as far as typical schooling is somewhat shady at best.

The fun in this character will be centrered around a balance of risk averse gameplay (don't want to set those triggers off) against necessity (have to get those materials for the benefit of the station, or get to that casualty to stabilise them even at risk to themselves). Whilst also being a role that isn't going to be drastically detrimental to other players if it's paused (a miner going feral will still leave some usable materials to find, a paramedic might leave a casualty, but they can still be rescued, as opposed to say, a surgeon who leaves a trail of patients in the medbay because nobody is qualified to care for them).

Ultimately, NT is a business, they wouldn't engage a risk on the station if it didn't make business sense, sure there's a moral hazard in letting a potentially hazardous chimera about at the crews expense.. but if they're good enough at what they do to justify that? and likely with NT stiffing them on the pay in exchange, they'd all be for it.

from a player persepctive, pairing up to go out is something I always have enjoyed, so buddying up to do the heavy lifting, or forming part of small search and rescue ops is something I'm looking forward to doing with this character, what else? who knows. that's the fun of RP.

with the morphing aspect, I enjoy people being close, but not entirely comfortable around them. As a heavily pred leaning character, this is the sort of environment I thrive in and tends to give the most fulfilling plays from playmates feedback. So seeing them each time with a new part, perhaps being less than eager to explain how they aquired it whilst still maintaining friendly relations gives plenty of chance to come up with fun scenes.

As for looks, I want to start out with something distinctly vulpine in nature, fix wintery coats good for sheltering the cold, big ears for hearing things in the mines or out in the snow, but from there I want to have a character that adapts based on scenes, this 'play things as they go' is something i've recently started to enjoy and is pretty much at the heart of the species in itself.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: I have joined the community on August of 2020 but haven't really been active until the beginning of 2021

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: I played ss13 since early 2018, the servers I started on were the LRP ones like TG, Beestation, then went to Hyperstation, Skyrat, and now Chomp.

How do you quit the round and free up your job slot if you can't get to cryo or the gateway?

There is a command called quit-this-round which would free up your job slot to make sure someone else someone else can take up your job slot when you leave the round.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?

You are supposed to follow all of the standard operating procedures by the book and also enforce all crew to follow them too, especially the heads of staff you're supposed to be overlooking. The SM is not above the law and is still subject to the SOP and security can still detain them.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?

Yes, you are allowed to carry weapons on you but they may not be visible on code green.
EDIT: Weapons are permitted to heads of staff for self defense reasons only, they shouldn't really use them for policing or otherwise, on code green they preferably shouldn't even have it brandished in the first place, the higher levels of alert being a reason to have one.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?

If power is limited, it is not advisable to keep the shields on due to the high power drain, and it would be only used in immediate emergencies such as carp and meteors. It also wouldn't be advised to keep them on as it can interrupt EVA activities.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do

Ah yes, the reason why I'm writing this application. If there is some minor damage, I would ask for the patient's consent before dragging them off, otherwise I would leave them be. If they are lying in crit bleeding out, not treating them would practically be manslaughter. Otherwise its on the patient if they are in a stable condition.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?

The warden's responsibility would be to ensure the brig is secured, the prisoners are treated fairly and sentenced appropriately. Your other responsibility is to protect the armory and give your security officers weapons based on the situation that is needed. You still answer to the head of security directly.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?

Security personnel are able to be granted energy laser weapons and disabling weapons for code blue for defending their selves and others, and are allowed to carry it visibly holstered. Lethal weaponry is highly discouraged and usually reserved for code red.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?

Since this is an RP server, the first thing you should do is to talk it out and to have the suspect willingly come to the brig for some questioning in order to give the proper sentence/fine. If it is for carrying contraband, I would personally tell them to confiscate it and have them carry on their day. Interrupting players minding their own business is not fun for the party sometimes.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation

Now the Head of Personnel is not a security member at all, this is the only time I would personally escalate them into an arrest right away, shouting at them to surrender but not hesitating to use force to disable them. That is considered grand trespass and would be treated like any other assistant breaking into the armory.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?

Now a borg lawed to kill would be considered an antagonist and is still under the same rules for antags on the station, which is to make sure you don't go running around murdering everyone you see because this server prefers RP over mechanical combat. If I wind up killing someone, I would make sure there is a proper escalation and some telling that there is something wrong with the machine.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?

A borg on station is tasked with only following their laws which can change on the fly. Your laws take priority while also taking the server rules in account, and generally you shouldn't abuse your all access by bolting doors for the funnies unless it has a practical use such as during an emergency.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?

You are not considered a head of staff at all, in fact you follow their orders directly due to their high ranking, however you still must listen to the crew in general. EDIT: They are only based off of the laws you are equipped at the time, some laws are slaved to the crew while others listen to higher ranking members only. Laws can change all the time depending on Ion storm or player interception.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?

If the ion law is rather low impact, I would have my behavior change for the crew to find out themselves, otherwise if a law is rather high impact I would inform the crew that there is laws updated.
EDIT: In hindsight, you should be able to roleplay around your laws as best as you can, if something seems vague it's up to your own interpretation/

Thank you for taking the time to read my application, I would most likely be found as CMO on station and I cant wait!
I wrote the entire application earlier and I accidentally refreshed losing all my writing
