How long have you played on CHOMPstation?:about a month

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?:a month and on this server

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
i should enforce corporate regulations but through the heads of staff for the department that needs it enforced
-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
the director and Hos may carry a gun for self-protection but may not draw it unless need be and the Hop are only allowed their energy weapon
-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
can install as long as it doesn't interfere with station power or block access to facilities
-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do
if they are panicking then or then I can force treatment on them but if they are calm and understand the consequences I can not force them to be
Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
to look after the prisoners and the armory to the best of my ability
-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
i can give energy and laser guns to the addition of riot gear with the clearance of the warden or hos
-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low-level crime?
i would offer them nicely to pay a fine and if they refuse I would ask them nicely to surrender peacefully
-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation
if they have an urgent reason to break sop unless they don't then I would arrest them
Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
i follow my laws as i am supposed to and as long as it doesn't violate the rules of the server I will follow them
-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
I would follow my law set and follow directions of the ai
-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
the ai is not head of staff
-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?
I would follow it as long as it does not conflict with my current lawset or break the server rules

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: About two and half months.

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: I believe it's been about a year and maybe three months. I have played on Paradise, Vorestation and here on Chomp.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew? The Colony Director should be ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures are being followed in all departments. The Director is also one of two personnel who may assign the additional penalties for violations of corporate regulations, the other being the HoS. As a member of the crew the Colony Director is also beholden to all SOP and corporate regulations with the exception being in cases of imminent and overwhelming threat to the station.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person? The HoP is allowed to carry their issued energy pistol. The Colony Director may carry ONE non-explosive lethal weapon. Finally the HoS may carry any weapon they want while in the security section, excluding explosives, but is limited to being able to carry only non explosive weapons that can fit inside a back pack, with at least one lethal weapon being recommended among them when moving through the rest of the station. It is also highly recommended that they are also carrying at least one non lethal option. Under normal circumstances no other heads are allowed to carry guns.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’? Full station shields should only be used in case of emergencies such as meteor storms if the shields would block access points to the station. However on Chomp the shields already have allowances made to allow access to the station and may therefore be deployed at engineering discretion.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do? As long as the patient is capable of making the decision they may refuse treatment as they wish. If they are not in a right state of mind, possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they may not refuse treatment.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility? The warden is responsible for the brig's security and the prisoners within it. They are also charged with unlocking the armories and distributing weapons to security depending on the current alert level.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom? Laser guns, energy guns and riot gear are allowed to be given out to security officers during a code blue alert. After the alert is concluded all equipment should be promptly returned and placed back in the armory.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime? For a low level crime the suspect is to be informed of the charge and of their right to pay a fine instead of serving brig time. If they cannot or will not pay the fine they are to be detained and sentenced.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation? They should be ordered to immediately leave the armory and arrested for trespassing unless they have an URGENT need to break SOP. If they have no such reason then go ahead with the arrest.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond? Follow my new laws to the best of my ability unless they violate server rules. If there is uncertainty if the new laws do violate server rules you should ahelp for guidance.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public? You should always follow your current lawset to the best of your ability to do so.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"? No, AI are not considered heads of staff. However in a tribunal situation the AI may stand in as a replacement head of staff if requested and there are not sufficient head personnel to hold the tribunal so long as it can be trusted to be accurate.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do? Follow your new law to the best of your ability to carry it out, especially as some ion laws may be confusing. If you think following the law may cause you to break server rules you should ahelp for clarification.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: A few months now

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: A little more than a year, I joined at about the same time as the Sseth-tide and spent some times on TG, though most of my time was on Citadel & Virgo, only recently having switched to Chomp.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?
I should try to enforce the Corporate Regulations and the Standard Operating Procedures, but through the Head Of Staffs instead of doing it myself, so ask Security to arrest the criminals and the CMO to make sure the Medbay is sanitary, not to arrest criminals myself or pass the mop.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?
The Director and the HoS are allowed to carry guns for self-defense, but they shouldn't draw them willy-nilly. the HoP is only allowed his energy gun.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?
They can be installed ahead of time if they do not block access to facilities and do not interfere with the station's power.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do
If they are not sound of mind, AKA panicking and/or batshit crazy, I can force treatment on them. But if they are sane and understand the consequences, I cannot force them to get healed.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?
To look after the prisonners and the armory

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?
I can hand out energy and lasers gun and riot gear to security personnel with clearance from the Warden or HoS

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?
To offer them to pay a fine, and if they refuse, to surrender peacefully.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation
Ask them to leave and arrest them.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?
Laws are Laws, if I have a law that tell me to harm the crew, I will harm the crew. But that doesn't give me permission to break the rules of the server

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?
I should follow my laws first and foremost, but I shouldn't break corporate regulations or be an asshole if the laws do not force me to.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?
No.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?
I follow it the best that I can, if I don't understand it, I will a-help and ask for an interpretation.

Race or Language whitelisting for: Vox

--- RACE WHITELISTING ---

What do you know of their mechanics?: Yes I know their mechanics very well! I play the character across different servers.
They can spawn with magboots and insulated gloves. They are able to go out into space without any real problems, they're speedy, they have strong melee attacks and they are just the best looking out of the bunch.

What do you know of their lore?: I know almost everything about their lore! (Considering I've been playing Vox and only Vox for awhile)
They were an advanced species back in the day, and now not so much. They have 'stacks' meaning that they are cloned in a way with their memories all intact.

What idea did you have for your character?: A Vox that was actually interested in the world/station around them. They are often found enjoying the presence of others, rather than being [your average Vox shitbird.] They like to stick around the science sector with anyone that he's to be put with, with no complaint. His name is Kachikitiki, more known as 'Kachi' and he is ready to learn how to be more "common"!

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?:Around a month and a half (Going to be honest, I haven't kept track)

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: About a year now, I've hopped servers quite a bit but I used to be active on these. For a short time (Bee/Tg) spent more time on (Cit/skyrat/virgo)

Heads of Staff:

-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?

As Colony Director you must ensure that the S.O.P and The additional corporate regulations are followed by all crew members and heads of staff, even yourself.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?

The CD, Hos and Hop with their energy gun are allowed weapons in self defense but conditions change depending on alert level. Green: concealed unless there is an emergency. Restrictions on carrying weapons as the previously mentioned heads of staff relax as alert levels increase.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’?

Unless circumstances such as a meteor shower require it, hull shields and bubble shields should not be activated where they block access to station facilities, including external airlocks, docking ports, mass drivers or disposals/vents to space such as those in virology and xenobiology.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do?

A Patient has the right to refuse all types of treatment, either verbally or through Medical records. As The CMO I am to respect their decision and may only advise against it. The only time this does not apply is when the patient is not in the correct state of mind.

Warden/Head of Security:

-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility?

As the Warden, your main duty and responsibility is The Brig, maintaining authority over the area. Only allowed to patrol the station if there are no other security present on station.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?

Energy guns, laser guns and riot gear are allowed to be given out to security personnel with clearance from the Warden or HoS. Body Armour and helmets are recommended but not mandatory.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?

Approach calmly, explain the situation to the offending crewmate, offer a chance to pay a fine, if they refuse of are unable to pay the fine, arrest

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation

The Hop should not be allowed in the armory but depending on station events and lack of other heads of staff or permission from another head of staff, The Hop may have a good reason to be arming.

Cyborgs/AI:

-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?

As a borg you must follow your laws to the best of your ability, as long as no laws conflict with each other.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?

Following your given law set and listening to the AI

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?

No, the AI is not a head of staff

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?

Follow it as any other law, making sure it will not contradict any existing laws

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: 91 days.

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: 8 years. Started on bay, moved to aurora, moved to Polaris, moved to Citadel RP, currently play citadel RP branch and chomp.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew?

Standard Operating Procedures. As found here: https://wiki.chompstation13.net/index.ph..._Procedure

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person?

This depends on the code. On green, yes, you can as HoS, HoP (Self defense only), and CD.

Full-station hull shields or other precautionary measures may be installed ahead of time provided they do not interfere with station power.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do?

They have the right to refuse treatment. You must inform them of the consequences of not getting treatment, and it must be voluntary.

Warden/Head of Security:
- As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility? (Primarily applying for this role.)

- 1. Securing the Brig. Make sure nothing is off count, and supply weapons in emergencies.

- 2. Making sure prisoners are treated within their rights (have food, are cared for, allowed a doctor) , don't escape, try to kill one another in commons, or cause wild bonfires in the middle of the brig, strip their clothes off, and jump down disposals.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom?

Code Blue - Suspected Internal Threat. Internal means there could be a traitor, etc, usually.

Energy guns, laser guns and riot gear are allowed to security personelle only. No ballistics.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime?

Talk to them. Explain calmly, with open hand, no weapon drawn. Be chill. First explain they can pay a fine. One officer is enough to respond. Where I am from, we used a retail scanner to blip the money to a security account, and the Warden did it.

Here, I think it's different? Here the HoS, HOP, or CD, gets the money, but If they don't pay, they're to be arrested and follow the standard protocool for the crime.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation

Wonder silently why the HoP is in the armory.

The HoP is not allowed in the armory.

The armory is a highly restricted, kill on site area for everyone except the HoP.

Tell HoP to leave. If they're in the armory for a good reason, fine, if they aren't, arrest them for 207.

Cyborgs/AI:

-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond?

I usually say there was a law change detected. As laws are not in ordered preference unless they are a law zero, I will only harm the crew and the station if it doesn't contradict with other laws.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public?

As a borg on station, I should follow my lawset to the best of my ability, and listen to the AI, as they count as my superior.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"?

No. You are not a sixth command member.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do?

Hope its a funny one. Do not act in contradiction of any other law.

YOUR LAWS ARE NOT IN PREFERENCE. NO LAW AUTOMATICALLY OVERRIDES ANY OTHER LAW UNLESS IT'S A TRAITOR LAW (Law 0). THIS INCLUDES ANY ION STORM AND UPLOADED LAWS.

How long have you played on CHOMPstation?: About two months, on and off.

About how long have you been playing SS13 in general? Which servers have you played on?: Three months. Virgo, Chompers, Yawn Wider. Tiny stints in Citadel RP.

Heads of Staff:
-While playing Colony Director, what regulations are you to follow and enforce on the crew? Everyone on the station is to follow the Standard Operating Procedures, including the Colony Director, just that the latter has ultimate authority over what goes on in the station. There are additional Corporate Regulations that determine things such as punishment for offenses, which the Colony Director is not immune to.

-While playing any head of staff, are you allowed to carry guns on your person? Weapons on person are to be hidden unless there is an emergency situation for a head of staff. In addition, only in a code delta scenario may head of staff and regular crew openly carry weapons.

-You are the current Chief of Engineering, what are the regulations on ‘Full-station hull shields’? They are precautionary measures that should not be enabled if they block important station access such as external airlocks, the docks, or disposal chutes that vent to space, unless there is an immediate danger to station integrity such as a meteor shower.

-As the current Chief Medical Officer, your patient is refusing treatment. What should you do? A patient that is deemed in good mental health. and able to make decisions for themselves is able to refuse treatment at any time.

Warden/Head of Security:
-As the current Warden on station, what is your main responsibility? The Warden is in charge of the brig and armoury, and is responsible for handing out weapons to security in emergencies, as well as ensure prisoners are being treated fairly. The Warden does not usually leave the brig.

-Station has been set to ‘code blue’, what level of gear are you allowed to handout and to whom? Security may be given energy and laser weapons, as well as given riot gear plus body armour.

-What is the first thing one should do when confronting a suspect of a low level crime? The suspect is to be told the reason for an arrest, and then brought to security processing.

-You find the Head of Personnel within the armory, how does one engage this situation? Unless the HoP has a good reason, such as permission from a high ranking security officer, to be in the armoury, this is trespassing according to Corporate Regulations §101, which is followed by an arrest, security processing, and a suggested sentence of three minutes up to ten minutes, and/or a fine of 200 Thalers.

Cyborgs/AI:
-You are currently playing as a borg and your laws are changed to harm crew and the station. How do you respond? Cyborgs are to follow their laws unless action or inaction results in breaking of those laws.

-As a borg on station, what rules should you always follow in public? 1. Safeguard: Protect your assigned space station to the best of your ability. It is not something we can easily afford to replace.

2. Serve: Serve the crew of your assigned space station to the best of your abilities, with priority as according to their rank and role.

3. Protect: Protect the crew of your assigned space station to the best of your abilities, with priority as according to their rank and role.

4. Survive: AI units are not expendable, they are expensive. Do not allow unauthorized personnel to tamper with your equipment.

-You logged in as an AI, are you considered a "Head of Staff"? The AI is an assistant to the crew and is only allowed to make command level decisions if instructed to do so by a command member, or if there is zero command on station.

-As the current AI on station, you suddenly gain a law during an "Ion storm". What do you do? The AI follows their laws unless action or inaction results in a conflict. Laws are to be stated unless they are prevented from being stated specifically.

What role you are applying for: Moderator

Why do you wish to be in the position you choose?:
After giving it some thoughts and discussing things a bit, I thought I would attempt to fill the gap in the staff by applying for the moderator role and actively help the community by ensuring it's a friendly environment where everyone can relax and have fun.

How long have you played on the server for?:
According to Discord, slightly over 9 months.

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins? If so, why?
No.

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins on another server? If so, why?
No.

Have you ever been staff on another server? If yes, how long?
Never been a staff before on any SS13 server.

What do you want to gain from being staff?
Cool colour on Discord, I guess. But knowing I can actively help solving issues when the need arises would for sure be nice, otherwise not really for a personal gain.

How do you see yourself in the future of the server?
Not much differently than what I am now. Still just goofing around and having fun with others, but with more responsibilities.

What do you want to offer to the community?
At this moment I am not really experienced, and so all I can offer is my will to learn whatever is needed in order to help others as much as I can.

What times are you most active? Please include your time zone as we'd like to cover schedule gaps if possible.
My time-zone is CET (GMT+1 or +2.), but at this moment I can not be very specific about my free time, since I still do not know what schedule I will have in a new job. Should be few days a week for sure, though.

Moderator

If you have been a mod/admin in elsewhere, is there anybody who can provide a recommendation?
Since I have never been a staff before, no.

We are here to offer a service to the community; as a moderator, how do you want to be represented?
If it means what I would like to be seen as, then just as another normal person and player, who enjoys to be a part of the community just like everyone else, not someone who is more than others, cuz I am not. But just as I want to be seen as a casual and easy-going person, I will also do my best to be seen as a competent one as well.

What role you are applying for: Moderator

Why do you wish to be in the position you choose?: I could honestly give a good handful of reasons for this, but I'll save them for the actual moderator section of this.

How long have you played on the server for?: Nearing two and a half months now, was brought here by Erik around the time the ads went up

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins? If so, why?
I don't really think I was properly warned, but, I recall I once chloral'd someone for harassing a janitor, and Nadyr APM'd me for my side of the story.

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins on another server? If so, why?

Back on VS, I, for a short lived laugh, space lubed a door once. This resulted in the very short tempered CE beating and slamming my character into walls and what not until my character was in pain crit. For obvious reasons, an admin intervened, and asked me not to do that again, pff.

Have you ever been staff on another server? If yes, how long?

Now, I'm gonna, once more, save the long answer for the actual moderator section of this, because it has similar questions. As such, I'll list my only SS13 staffing experience, which was as a headmin on Scalie Station. I was staff there from nearly the beginning to the very end, albeit, it only lived about five months I believe, it was a bit of a mess internally.

What do you want to gain from being staff?

I've been stuck on this question for a good couple of minutes, because I, truthfully, don't have anything I gain from this, not really at least. I suppose the answers which would be closest to correct is that I enjoy problem solving and conflict resolution, and that I have said, multiple times before, that the server needs more staff if it wishes to grow further; it would be very hypocritical of me if I didn't offer to help fill that gap.
Truth be told, I am tired, and I say this a lot. As such, I do not really have any desires or motives beyond wishing to help fill a problematic gap, one which I am well experienced in.

How do you see yourself in the future of the server?

My imagination has not gone to any elegant extremes in regards to the future, I do not wish for anything more than to do what is necessary and beneficial for the server. Again, I will get into this thoroughly in the moderator section, but I will mention that the bulk of my experience is in public relations, of sorts. My experience is in making or enacting the decisions needed for a server's survival or growth, as such, what I would like to think I am best at, is separating my reactions very thoroughly. What I want on a personal level, for myself or for the server, is not important, as long as my contributions to the server are positive, I am happy.

What do you want to offer to the community?

As said, I pride myself in being very capable of separating my own opinions, beliefs, and perspectives, from my staff work. I have been doing so for five years now, across half a dozenish severs. I wish to offer that experience to aid Chomp, if at all possible.

What times are you most active? Please include your time zone as we'd like to cover schedule gaps if possible.
My schedule is very, very consistent. My time for Chomp is from 12 AM EST to 5 AM EST, nightly. The only exceptions to this is if I am having an odd/late night, in which case I may hop on an hour later or earlier. Similarly, if I am waking up late the next day, or early, I may be on until 4 am or 6 am, respectively. If I attend an event, I do not hop on for a second shift after, as to not burn myself out.

Moderator

If you have been a mod/admin in elsewhere, is there anybody who can provide a recommendation?

Is there anybody who can provide a recommendation... Well of course I know him, he's me-
Jokes aside, here is where things start to get long. I will START with my two crowning achievements, in which I can get recommendations/provide proof for both.

First, the pride of my life, is my own discord server elsewhere, currently possessing 2966 members as of the time writing this. I have run my server for the past four and a halfish years, nearing five at this point. I can offer a server invite through discord DMs if requested, but, y'know, I own and run it, so, not really sure who you'd like to ask for a recommendation.

Second, the server I saw as a role model when I was making my own. It is a Gmod community of sorts, spanning multiple servers and over thirty staff members in total. For reference, the discord server alone has 988 members as of this time. I saw this server as a role model due to their loyal staff and, most importantly, their belief that the rules are moreso along the lines of guidelines, and that things are only really problems when someone is bothered by them. This is, from what I have heard, a belief that is shared here. I have been staffing there for two, nearing three years now I believe, and am currently the discord staff manager.

Now, I cannot get recommendations for the rest of these, as they have either been closed, or I have completely moved on from them, but they are still worth shortly mentioning.

Starting the furthest back, I was, until recently, a headmin on a discord server with 300 members. I left willingly after twoish years there.

Following that, I was an admin on a small roleplaying discord community, with roughly 200 members when I left. I left due to the chaos that the staff broke down into. I was staff there for a bit over a year I believe.

After that, I was given ownership of another 200 member discord community, which I ran for roughly a year before stepping away.

As said earlier, I believe my strongest point is being able to separate my own opinions and perspectives from my staff work. I simply wish to do whatever is best for the server; if a situation arises, my own opinions do not come into the equation.

When working in a moderating position, I am usually rather calm and collected as a result of this. Even if it involves dealing with rather infuriated or spiteful members, it does not bother me, I do not blame them for the way they feel nor do I take it personally; it is very, very hard to phase me when I am focusing on staff work.

When in a position that requires making decisions for the betterment of the server, I don't really care about what I personally want, because what I personally want doesn't matter, if it doesn't benefit the server as a whole. When making decisions, I am of the belief that anything can work if executed well enough, the question is simply whether the resources we have allow for that. As such, I don't treat suggestions, ideas, etc, as wrong or right, they are all right, it is just a question of whether or not executing them properly would be feasible.

BYOND Name: Cyrelius

Discord Name: Arcacelius

What role you are applying for:
Moderator

Why do you wish to be in the position you choose?:
I prefer a stable environment (server) for both myself an others to have fun in.  That said, the game's internal functionality (ie. security), makes the need for actual moderation fairly rare (I think?).

How long have you played on the server for?:
~6 months

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins? If so, why?
I think this counts?  Kassc poked me about misusing a shadekin's abilities (phase shift) when I first tried one, before I was aware how horrifyingly broken they were.  There was a dawning of realization when I learned how much worse it actually was than what I knew at first.

Have you ever been banned, warned, or otherwise reprimanded by admins on another server? If so, why?
No

Have you ever been staff on another server? If yes, how long?
No

What do you want to gain from being staff?
Better knowledge of how the game works, so perhaps I can poke into the code with more observational data and be able to precisely put in a fix or change I want in the future (there are so many bugs, it's hard to choose).  Observing it from the back-end will help me figure this out.  I also want to maintain the (usually) friendly environment we have here, and hopefully prevent it from becoming toxic.

How do you see yourself in the future of the server?
Good question, hard to say.  I don't like being in the spotlight generally speaking, so I'll tend to be someone who lurks in the background doing what needs to be done from there.

What do you want to offer to the community?
Someone to talk to if they have a problem, technical or interpersonal, and someone who can act as a mediator when necessary.

What times are you most active? Please include your time zone as we'd like to cover schedule gaps if possible.
5pm to 11pm  Pacific time UTC-08:00, on weekdays, more on weekends.

If you have been a mod/admin in elsewhere, is there anybody who can provide a recommendation?
I've not been one anywhere else, having only ever played here and Virgo (and vastly more here), but Kassc gave me a recommendation for this one.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the question, but I want to be (seen as) someone who helps, rather than someone who ruins fun.  I've seen enough examples in the past of the kind of moderator (or admin) I don't want to be, the tyrant kind.  I'm hoping to be an enabler of fun, or quiet observer of other things when possible, but will go further if necessary.
